Crossing Time was created to explore how architecture can support student life in a more meaningful way. Located in Nişantepe, Çekmeköy, an area with a strong youth population and many educational facilities, the project brings together three main functions: a Library, Student Dormitories, and a Student Center. The design is shaped by the idea of time layers. The Library represents the past, as a place of knowledge and memory. The Dormitories represent the present, where daily life happens. The Student Center represents the future, as a space for interaction, development, and new possibilities. Guided by the idea that the present learns from the past to build the future, the project allows students to move through these layers in their everyday experience. In this way, the architecture becomes more than a group of buildings. It becomes a journey that connects learning, living, and personal growth.
